The carp that climbs the falls becomes the dragon. KOI is a cropped, boxy heavyweight hoodie in Medium Gray, built around the old story of 鯉の滝登り (koi no takinobori): the carp that swims up a waterfall and turns into a dragon at the top. The back shows the koi climbing through the falling water in front of a red halftone sun, with 鯉の滝登り down the side. On the front, a round “KOI-02 · FORMLESS · DRAGON GATE” badge sits over 登竜門 (tōryūmon, the dragon gate: the gateway to success), and a vertical FORMLESS strip with a red 無形 (“formless”) stamp runs down the left sleeve.
